Itinerary
Day 1 · Arrival & Historic Montreal
Arrival in the morning at YUL airport. Check-in at downtown hotel at noon. Use the afternoon to stroll through the cobblestone streest of Old Montreal, try the ice cream coffee at Cafe Olympico and see the Notre-Dame Basilica and enjoy contemporary French brasserie cuisine for dinner
Day 2 · Culture & The Mile End
Head over to the vibrant Plateau neighbourhood and grab world-famous St-Viateur or Fairmont bagels. Sit down and enjoy a coffee at one of the numerous popular local cafes. Use the afternoon to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and explore their world-class collections and treat yourself to a poutine for dinner like a true local!
Day 3 · Highs & Lows
Don't worry, we are referring to a nice hike to the top of Mont-Royal mountain followed by a scenic bike ride along the Lachine Canal! You will have plenty of opportunities to rest, snack on local favorites, enjoy a drink or two before winding down over dinner at one of the city's top restaurants.
Day 4 · Market Visit & Nightlife
Can you navigate the Montreal subway system and find your way to the Jean-Talon market? (don't worry, we will help). Sample local cheeses, charcuterie and fresh fruits and take a stroll through little Italy while you're there! Use the evening to try out some of the cities favorite bars (and if that's not your scene, explore the Montreal Botanical Garden at your own pace).
Day 5 · Until you return
Don't worry, you can always come back and just because it's your last day doesn't mean you have to rush to the airport! Use the morning and afternoon to explore St Catherine and enjoy a meal at the Time Out food market. This is the opportunity to buy those things you know you should be bringing back home with you (psst. that includes some maple syrup) before taking a cab to the airport and returning back.
